Spectrum 24 Media began as a marketing and consulting firm in Birmingham, AL in 2006. The company quickly gained a reputation for exceeding clients’ expectations across the board on a wide variety of projects, and by maintaining an emphasis upon the lost art of service for clients, project referrals and word of mouth quickly poured in, garnering local government and private industry contracts that would have traditionally been managed by much larger marketing and P.R. firms.
With relentless entrepreneurial determination and a passion for marketing, Spectrum 24 Media’s CEO, Darren Callahan, and his team quickly expanded the company’s client base and sales reach throughout the southeastern United States. In early 2009, the decision was made to move the firm’s day-to-day operations to Atlanta, GA, and our company has been growing ever since.
One of the biggest reasons for the company’s growth has been the branding, marketing and public relations campaigns for the award-winning Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport (PUJ), located thirty miles northwest of Atlanta in suburban Paulding County. In 2007, the PUJ Airport Authority solicited marketing proposals from several firms and consultants in order to brand and market the new airport on a broad basis to high-net-worth individuals and corporations. Spectrum 24 Media was ultimately awarded the contract due to Darren’s expertise and background in aviation marketing and general aviation flight operations.

In addition to prior international sales and marketing management roles with British Airways, Darren Callahan is also a commercially licensed pilot, with over 2,500 hours of total flight time in corporate aviation and airline crew operations. His insight on the aviation industry, especially from an operational perspective, is extremely rare in marketing and public relations circles. Aviation and aerospace niche marketing also happens to be the fastest growing segment of Spectrum 24 Media’s client base.
In 2012, Spectrum 24 Media’s varied group of clientele ranges from high-end restaurants and film production studios, to aircraft charter companies and economic development organizations in six different states. The firm is planning a significant expansion and diversification of our capabilities throughout the year, with an emphasis placed upon developing mobile websites for business, economic development software, and WordPress installations for websites and blogging applications.

Spectrum 24 Media was recently selected as a preferred vendor for the cloud-based, Site Selector Pro economic development and real estate software, which provides turn-key marketing and web software solutions for economic development organizations throughout the United States and around the world.
The easy to use software is scheduled for Beta release in May, 2012. Site Selector Pro’s global imaging and graphical overlays allow the user to define data in order to search a wide variety of fields, such as demographic, transportation and utility information, in relation to all of the available sites and buildings in any rural and urban market.
The sophisticated, yet easy to use software also provides content management system (CMS) capabilities for simple website editing and updating. The system functions in a similar fashion to WordPress and Sitefinty, but with far more features. It user interface has been specifically designed for use by people with little to no web experience.
